Curry is BSing man. Yeah Harden is saying it but every other person associated with the Warriors is campaigning HARD for Curry. If you don't even say your for Curry like Mark Jackson they throw out these slight insults. Harden doesn't care. Remember at the start of the year dude said he was the best player on the planet and people thought he was joking but he was serious AF. People were like "Oh he's confident...that's cute."
Yep, Curry has set the dogs loose. The Narrative this week will be "Don't you all think Harden is trying too hard to win the MVP? Curry is just winning games."
Sorry Hadron, the media has already picked this Newton's Cradle as the biggest collider of the year because it was on a desk on the 75th floor of a skyscraper. /Curry4MVP logic
^ Bobby, that was actually pretty darned funny. Yeah, this is all so irritating. Harden gets asked who he would vote for and he says it, straight up. That's not campaigning. Meanwhile... and I live in the ****ing SF Bay Area, 24/7 Curry's damned teammates, coaches, staff and ALL media are all pimping his ass for MVP. I hope like hell that if (and probably when) he wins it, he gets his trophy in a series where his team is getting their no-playoff-experiences butts handed to them by somebody (like the Spurs). David Robinson, anyone?
Do people still buy it that Curry is humble and not the same as all other great players who believe they're the best? Curry can afford to not come out and say he deserves it, because he has enough going for him media wise.
We drop to 6th seed. Harden drops out of the conversation. Disappearing act right now when its a playoff-life atmosphere! ****!!!! Please turn it around in 4th quarter Beard!
Harden picked the wrong time to make this statement. He is going to get clowned. RIP MVP. The media aren't going to vote for him after saying this and not backing it up. He lost the MVP, hopefully that lights a fire in his ass and he performs in the playoffs.
lol keep talking, i guess he didnt learn last year from Parson, talk is cheap, you gotta show up when it counts the most, we need you tonight, where were you mvp harden
Harden didn't get the job done in the most important game of the year. You can't have a game like he did tonight. He's not worthy of the MVP at this point.
Tonight was a playoff like game and a playoff like performance by Harden. He knew what was at stake "MVP chances" and he choked. He won't get it now with a 6th seed. Time to move on this MVP talks and just focus on knowing how to play in big games.
