What was your favorite science show as a kid or heck even now? There were probably more but there are four distinct ones that I remember and they are: Mr. Wizard, Beakman's World, Science is Fun, and Bill Nye the Science Guy. I never really like Bill Nye but I watched the other three regularly. What about you?

I guess I must be old but I don't really remember anyone other than Mr. Wizard. The other 3 must be too new for me. I have heard of Bill Nye the Science guy though

Definately Beakman's world. The rat was funny. I thought Beakman was zany, he was cool. I think the first episode I saw was him crawling through a mock up of the human nasal passage, mucus and all.

    Forgot to mention the Penguins.

Don Herbert: ""Nobody beats me, because I'm the Wiz! I'm the Wiz!"

Seriously, Mr. Wizard rocks. He was a bad old dude and you could tell all of those rotten kids with the bad haircuts were afraid of him. If they forked up and embarassed The Wiz, it was their ass and they knew it.

Mr. Wizard was classic. The best there ever was and the best there ever will be.

    Mr Wizard on Nick!

I used to eat that stuff up when I was young (1980's)

I directly contribute watching that show to my success in science courses throughout my schooling..

I liked the Beakman's World show, though I watched it as an adult with my kids.

    I don't recall watching any science-type show when I was a kid.
