    What I saw last night was very lazy play, no hustling, no defense and very careless passing and ball handling. The blow out was a combination of the Spurs locking us down and the Rockets just having a bad effort night. We couldn't secure rebounds, every time the ball was up in the air our guys would stand there and wait for it while a spurs player would be 6 feet away and come flying in to grab the rebound.

    Dwight did dominate them. If he can just play 48 minutes then we should be good. But realistically, our backup C position is so bad with the injury news to DMO.

    The way SA is playing right now we wouldn't be able to beat them even if playing at our absolute best.

    I try to be optimistic sometimes... Spurs easily expose our lack of basketball discipline though. We could beat them if we sharpen up on certain things.

    I doubt that. You have Bev to slow down dribble penetration and Dmo next to Dwight as a compliment and finesse post up threat in the post. I don't think Spurs could hang.. Although I am disappointed in Brewer/Ariza not being able to slow down Leonard...

    I know that some people wanted to the Spurs last year because we swept them during the regular season. But this year I do not think many people want the Spurs. Where is a poll in the thread?

    It was a good start for us, with a 7 point lead at the end of the first quarter.

    Howard was giving the Spurs problem. I hope he recovered once the playoffs starts.

    On the positive side, we only lost by one point.

    Dude if you couldn't see we were out coached, you are just a joke. McHale should have pulled josh after the 5th or 6th miss free throw.

    I still think we could beat them (I know...flame away. I don't blame you), but you just can't play abjectly bad basketball against them. You can't miss 20 free throws. You can't turn it over 20 times. You can't give up tons of rebounds. Those are just mental things. It's not hard to not play like idiots.

    I really want the Spurs to teach us another lesson that the management and armchair GMs can learn how to prepare for the playoffs.
