The whole "who do you want to play?" question this year might as be phrased, "if teams were different poisons, which one would rather ingest if had to." There are some that you'll probably survive but could kill you if you don't do anything to neutralize it. There are some are likely to kill you, but you could survive if you have a strong constitution and treat things early. Some may take a while to take effect, but will likely do you in by the end without properly dealing with them.

Nobody is a bottle of water in the West. Spurs seem like a classic, but extremely lethal, poison that you need to act on as soon as possible, or you're dead. Chef Harden will need to have Poison Control on speed dial.

Tomorrow and Friday are going to be very interesting. Spurs are rolling, Leonard is in another stratosphere right now.

Hopefully this is like when the Cavs came in hot and we were more than up to that challenge.

If we end up in 6th, and the Spurs end up in 3rd:

    1st Round Playoffs
Spurs(3) vs Rockets(6) (Spurs Homecourt Advantage)

Clutchfans homerism is ridiculous. I wonder if people on here even watch basketball.

i think we need to win our remaining games in order to lock up the second seed.

that's a tall order since it would start with beating the spurs who look like they are ready to play for a championship.

losing on friday would mean probably ending up 5th. losing against the pelicans would probably mean ending up 6th. 5th wouldn't be so bad because we'd still get HCA against the blazers.

Spurs are the number one team to avoid right now. I'd prefer GS over Spurs to be honest.

From most preferred playoff opponents, I'd say the order goes. OKC/Pels, Dallas, Portland, Clippers, Memphis, GS, SA.

This thread is so cringeworthy. As mentioned, homerism is so damn high; watch some damn basketball.

Considering the spurs just bent us over and re-sized our rectum. NO. I don't want them round 1.

We were holding our own in the 1st half... until Dorsey killed our momentum. :(

Don't underestimate what the Rockets can do.

it's not because Joey Dorsey missed some free throws

Watched it. Momentum can sometimes change the outcome of the game.

and oversimplifying things can make people think you aren't serious

Nick Anderson missing free throws changed momentum

Joey Dorsey missing free throws is normally what he does

if you can't see that the Rockets gave up on defense and took a bunch of horrible shots, then you didn't watch the game like a human

You talk as if Dorsey missing free throws is a normal thing.

As a rocket fan, it's embarrassing.

I don't want Spurs in the 1st round...my heart would be pounding like hell. They are one hell of a team, so matured and have high intelligence. Not to mention they have a coach I always wish we could trade for.

I still believe that we can beat anyone in a 7 game series.

Spurs are on a roll at the moment and had the momentum.

The Spurs aren't a good team, or a team having a great season, they are a great team...one of the all time greatest. ( and it makes me sick!)

They have a great coach, great chemistry and a roster of battle tested champions with role players that fit the Spurs system very well.

But it was just one game.

One game with Dwight only playing 20 minutes.

    Keep the faith...
