No one can predict injuries... On the bright side, T Jones, J Smith, J Dorsey and Pap should be able to play along with DW12 to keep the intensity. Time to define clutch city again!
If this is true, I think the Rockets have very little shot at making noise in the playoffs. He is the 3rd offensive option on this team....unbeleivable
Mavs fans need to shut their holes. First of all, they could still wind up with the Clippers or Spurs in Round 1. Secondly, Parsons has a knee injury of his own that could keep him out the rest of the regular season(and possibly longer).
WOW...we're done for. I don't think we can get out of the first round without DMo. Who's going to get us paint scoring? Josh Smith better STEP IT UP!!!
Funny how confident they are that he won't be good to go for the playoffs that are more than 2 weeks away. Sciatica? Bulging disc? Goddamnit.

The loss of DMO can be mitigated somewhat if Kpap returns to form and gives the Rockets some stretch PF minutes. But it also means we'll see more of Doresy than we would like. And any minutes Dorsey is on the court, "hack-a-dorsey" comes into play.
I think it's more the fact that we've been hit so hard by injuries this season that people are stunned at yet another blow. I agree that Bev was a bigger loss, but DMo was a large part of our offense and we'd have a much better offensive bench unit with him as opposed to Dorsey. We may still get to the 2nd round and even the conference finals if things go right, but we needed to be totally healthy if we had any shot at a 'ship this year, and it's frustrating that it won't happen.
Throughout the season it seemed to me like DMo was using his lower back too much to fight for position. I didn't think much of it because he's had no issues in the past, that I remember, but perhaps this was the cause..
This hurts but we should be ok with a TJ, Smoove and KPap rotation but please for the love of god give capella spot minutes behind dwert over dorsey.
We've still got a decent front court rotation. But D-Mo would've made it a devastating one. Even teams with a lot of size like the Grizzlies would've had a tough time handling all of those guys. This is a killer. Unless Dwight plays like he did against Portland and sustains that for the entire postseason, I don't see how we can win a title now.
I am close friends with his manager. Just called him and said he is flying to LA to have surgery tomorrow. Done for SEASON and POST SEASON!
