No it doesn't, as long as the Rockets stay first in our division, they have the tiebreaker over the Clippers as far as I know. So split with the Spurs and they probably can still afford to lose a game, depending on how Memphis plays out.
You guys saying that this will be an "easy" win are delusional. This will be a tough hard fought 2 game stretch. Do I think the rockets can win? Sure. But you have to acknowledge how dominate the Spurs are playing. This is not a match up I want the Rockets to have in the first round, that is for sure. We need to just focus on finishing the season out strong and holding on to the 2 seed.

65% from the field, 52% from the stripe. Only two blocks though, I think that part will come back soon as it is more of a timing thing.
The Rockets had 24 turnovers that night and shot 18-31(58%) from the foul line. Dwight and Dorsey were a combined 3-11(think Pop won't remember that tonight?). Although Dwight did go 11-13 from the field, so he did dominate offensively when he wasn't being fouled. That's a tough game to put too much stock in. We were without T-Jones. It was only Josh Smith's 2nd game with the team(and first during that failed and brief experiment with him as the starter). And most importantly, the Spurs were without Kawhi and Parker. Plus Patty Mills played in his first game back after being out for months.
Anyone know if I'll be able to watch the game via NBA league pass? I have the choice subscription which let's me pick 5 teams to watch. I live in Austin and am not sure if it will be blacked out based on my location.
We gonna get raped.. Leonard is gonna shut down Haren.. Dwert is gonna foul out in the 1st qwerter..Rickets loose by 30.
If there is a team I'm afraid to play against, it's Spurs and for a good reason too. Great coaching, great players. I really hope we don't match them come playoff time.
I think the combination of Ariza and Brewer will tire out Leonard. I hope those guys know what's up and do what they gotta do. They both can contain Leonard and I know it.
spurs probably have this game circled. they're on a tear and want a statement game. the rockets have struggled to put away lottery teams of late. there's a good chance this game the spurs show the rockets how to blow out a team. that said the rockets have the potrential to learn how ro play better before the playoffs start.
Brewer had a huge game last time in San Antonio. He's a big X-factor tonight since I don't know who the Spurs have off the bench who can match his energy(Manu's too old). Smith also needs to play well against Diaw.
