We were missing D-Mo and Bev and playing Dwight in limited minutes. OKC was worse off than us, but let's not act like we were at home against Minnesota missing 4 of its starters and struggling for a win. That's a reason to be PO'd. Not winning by 3 at OKC where they beat most teams, even when they're shorthanded.

Didn't you know? Harden wakes up on gameday. Takes 10 shots of tequilla off the bellies of strippers. Goes to the game. Is drunk for first 10 minutes, then scores 41 points in the remaining 38 minutes.

And btw, OKC is not as bad as you make them out to be. If Westbrook is playing at his best, then OKC is still a good team. Especially if Murrow is shooting well. He's been really important to them lately.

As for McHale's bacon, I don't see what he did wrong today. Seemed to do just fine this game.

Ugly win, but we will all take it. Should not have been that close. Poor defense, missed free throws, lazy offense at times. The Rockets did enough to win, but I hope they can take it to another level of intensity when the playoffs begin. Can't believe they let Westbrook get going like that. Not easy to shut down, but he was wide open most of the time. Harden was "clutch" down the stretch and likely solidified his hold on MVP. We MUST get past the first round AT LEAST.

We gotta keep in mind OKC was playing for SURVIVAL to remain in the 8th seed for the playoffs and we kept taking their best shot.

Johnson might have been overwhelmed by Westbrook's size, but he should have gotten a chance to defend him.

Jones was disappointing. I know he is just coming back, but 3 boards aren't enough. Capela should have been put in there for 6-10 minutes.

Free Throws...well just have Terry,Ariza,Brewer,Harden and Howard or Prigs instead of Howard to close out games. That'll take care of free throw issues. Have Howard there only for rebounds if necessary otherwise Prigs. Issue Solved!

That's what we saw in this game at the end of the game. These guys stepped in and hit free throws once Harden fouled out. This might be the answer to free throw woes we're all concerned about at the end of games that we didn't have as much last year other than Parsons and Harden

New wrinkle on offense--those 30 foot alley-oop passes to Dwight and TJones. Sweet!

In the 1st quarter, while Howard is in, we orient our offense to getting him going. The moment Howard sits down, Harden begins to attack the basket.

I've been waiting for two seasons to see Mchale have the SMARTS to try this rotation. Makes all the sense in the world

I wouldn't really bother with the OP, all he really does is b**** in losses and then post "I'm not impressed" in all Rox wins. Last time the Rox came up with a come-back victory in which Mchail clearly outcoached Carlisle and he talks about all the stuff Dallas is missing. If the Rox blow out somebody he'll still probably not be impressed due to some reason or the other. Hell, if the Rox win a ring he'll still not be impressed because they could've won one last season.

His sig should be Mckayla, since apparently nothing the Rox impresses him

Really don't understand the "logic' of many in the game threads.

We are fighting for home court against as many teams as possible...and you want the coach to risk that by playing rookies?

Come on where is the common sense. Capela has not made a single free throw, not one. Both of those guys will get there time in the sun...but just not right now with so much riding on every possession.

So, I thought you promised us you were going to sleep though the rest of the games...rather than continue to just post your negative drivel. Guess that wasn't true either.

Another win against an experienced playoff team. Some smart passing by our team. Everyone on the team pitched in, but in the clutch when the game was on the line, Harden put the team on his back and lead us to the victory.

Thank goodness the team played smartly usually getting it to decent FT shooters down the stretch as well.

I understand what you are saying, but Terry and Prigioni can't guard anyone. Why not try Johnson along with James for a change? Your case for Capela is strong no doubt, but a few rebounds, some defense, and a dunk or two won't hurt.

I'll say it again: How could OKC trade James Harden just to avoid luxury tax??? KD+Westbrook+Harden=championship.
