Lin never played because he was injured on the Knicks. And he gave away 2 games in the playoffs on the Rockets; both which prompted the team to trade him away with a 1st rounder. Thats all you need to know

Obviously, the person who offered him a $25mil contract was the dumbest person on earth.

How much money did the Rockets make off of that $25mil contract?

So you think it was a wise decision? If so, then people shouldn't be moaning that he was not worth his contract.

Code words for...."Lets hope there are better options than being stuck with offering this inconsistent guy a long term contract."

Yeah, definately sounds like a resounding validation from one of the worst teams in the league with trash of a roster!!!!:grin::grin:

Word of advice to the Lin fanatics: Not exactly the kind of endorsement I would be proud of, if I am a fan of the player.

    Make no mistake about it.

Signing Lin to that contract was one of Morey's biggest mistakes. But I give credit credit to him for realizing it and trying to ship him out after just one season. That nasty contract was a pain to get rid of and took forever to find a taker but then along came the dumbass Lakers, rated the third worst management in the NBA, a move that I am sure contributed to their rankings. Rockets probably went to the negotiation table thinking they might have to give up two picks to get rid of Lin but Lakers probably said that one is more than enough.

Once again, Tank you Los Angeles Lakers!

Obviously, the person whose willing to take the tail end of that contract for 15 mils after seeing him play 2 full seasons is dumber.

Lin has improved his 3 point% and assit/to ratio this year. Good job.

Actually that's not a mistake, before the Harden trade, the mindset of the Rockets in that season is going for full tank mode, vegas line for Rox season winning total that season before the Harden trade is about 26 wins.

Morey knows what to expect with a roster when your "superstar" is Lin.

Similar situation can be said with the Lakers this year, they are trying to tank, hence Lin is a better option that even will come with a pick.

True. If you want to tank, Lin is the best option for chief tank navigator. His game is all about performing when there is nothing at stake - aka tanking team. He lacks the mental toughness and balls to perform when needed. Lakers had hopes to begin the season and Lin fans were talking about Playoffs for Lakers but this mental midget came up short, froze under pressure and was rightly demoted to the bench. When it mattered most, Lin played p***y like. Thats all that matters. He is playing better now that there is no pressure.

Rockets also signed Lin as chief tank commander but the moment Harden came in, Lin's role was reduced since we were looking to win and eventually he was humiliated and demoted to the bench for some dude from Russia (who I don't think is starting calibre which says a lot about Lin).

I won't be surprised if some other tanking team gives him a contract this off-season.

For the fake fans like danang, we had a lin thread for his stint in new york and it was all rockets fans discussing his play.

Then when lin fans invaded clutchfans, it was like the walking dead broke through hershel's ranch

Putting a tank navigator on the bench... The Lakers management is really really dumb.

Why do you care so much? I'm honestly intrigued at why some Rocket fans are so attached to the notion that Lin is a scrub. Why is it so important to your life?
