You're not a rockets fan on a rockets fan site.

Hakeem in our world means the best.
    Lin means the worst.
Hell, they even removed lin status from the rankings cause it represents a status that is too low

All good, win win for both sides.
Lakers acquired Lin to meet the salary cap floor, all the while, getting a draft pick out of it. What's 12 millie to the Lakers... game attendance are the same and projected to be greater than last year. This is happening with Kobe, Nash and Randle out.

    Absolutely.

Lakers acquiring Lin for that price tag did not make sense at first. But with the Lakers "tanking" theory floating around, it is all beginning to make sense. I guess they wanted a guarantee.

Still, that's hell off a price to pay for tanking.

If only rockets fans are left on this rockets fan site, you and your fellows wouldn't be having so much fun here

You must have the intelligence of the entire Lakers management team combined.

Exactly, his stupidity actually cost us a ring and wasted Howard's prime, the repercussion is quite dire for this. Lin is by far the worse ball handler in this league. He should spend more time working on his handle and bbiq instead of playing dota and make silly youtube videos or make cheap jab at the Rockets via bible verses.

If Lin didn't have that critical turnover, we would have craw back from 0-3 and beat the lowly trial blazers, 0-3 deficit is nothing if we got the H&H boys, and we will proceed to beat the Spurs the next round. PBev is the Heat killer where his facial dunk on dino-bosh still haunts them to this day. We would have easily destroy the Heat with Patrick Beverely on Bosh

I hold Lin's critical turnover solely responsible for the failure of last season.

    ^^^^^LOL @ The Meltdown.

Again, for those that are really slow...

Lin apologetics not knowing the difference or pretending to not knowing the difference between having bad games and throwing the game away on boneheaded plays. Terrible either ways.

Several players have had bad performances in the history of playoffs.

Not many players make costly boneheaded "plays" in back to back games. This is the Javal McGee category.

As a point guard, not knowing when to back off and run the clock....

As a point guard not knowing when to settle down and call the time out....

    <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/vh_wLpQjh6k" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

If you do not understand the value of these things, you simply do not understand playoff basketball.

Even Jeremy Lin knows how costly those turnovers were but Jeremy Lin fans have to run to defend Jeremy Lin from Jeremy Lin.

Not so subtle nonetheless, you drove the point home.

100% agree with you on this. Lin's back to back bad decision making made everyone's stomach turned. He should be taken out immediately during crunch times to avoid sabotaging a season.

LOL you do remember game 4 is the same one the Rockets lost when they couldn't even get off a game-tying shot because Beverley turned it over by dribbling straight into a double team.

I'll say one thing, people were calling Bev wolverine , esp after Lin got hurt in the 1st series vs OKC in year one. Now Bev is leaving games after 2 weeks with some injury.

You should know Zboy by now, he won't answer your post directly but instead resorts to his go-to move, this red herring, that he regurgitates over and over until it becomes true. he knows that any attempts of notable argument from him will get rejected, just like Draymond Green recently

LOL @ Typical deflection by Lin fanatics....but ....but....look at the other guy! *waaah*

LOL @ Lin fanatics not knowing the difference between clock management and calling time out while throwing the game away

    VS.

Being down three and a TO when running up the court with 7 seconds left in the game while down 3......with Blazers going for a strong gamble on a steal or a foul (even if refs call a foul and send him to the line that would still be a great play for the Blazers). Good gamble on their part.

You guys just dont understand the game and keep making it worse for yourselves by continually trying to white knight Lin. *tsk tsk*

I know Lin made mistakes in that Blazers' series. But I will always blame the Rockets' performance in that series on McHale. After this many months, I realize, I will never be able to get over that.
