Scottie Quitten signed with the Bullls.....which is great news for us

Now we should be all clear to lock up mister Posey...without Chi town hatin

Posey can't find big money out there because there is none for his caliber of player, so he should be back soon.................now that our major comp for him is out of the way:cool:

I don't think there are many people who don't want Posey back, but he still has options.

"Brad Miller's agent Mark Bartelstein said he talks to Heat General Manager Randy Pfund frequently, including recent conversations about Miller and restricted free agent swingman James Posey, who averaged 10.8 points and 5.1 rebounds for the Rockets last season."

I am afraid that more teams are not interested in Posey because he is asking for too much money. If we give Posey the money that is freed up from Rice next season, then I think that would be a mistake. It seems to me that a player like Posey can be developed, whether it be Hawkins or some other NBDL pickup. However, if we can reach a deal with Posey for $3-5 mil per, then I would be all for Posey.
