I would like 48 minutes at whatever % he can give me. If we don't have Howard, any time Harden is off the court can be really bad.

Since 48 minutes is not happening, I'll go with 36 and 90%

LOL. He hasn't played a single game at 100%. He takes plays off where he stops playing D or just stands in one spot when he doesn't have the ball. You need to watch closer.

He isn't capable of playing 100% whether he plays 10 minutes or 100 minutes

So you're saying Harden is playing at an MVP level without playing at 100%? There's no reason for him not to win it then.

With all due respect, what an absolute crock of diarrhea. Clearly, he didn't play at one hundred percent while he was scoring 50 in front of damn near every Rocket legend that can still get around. Yeah, right. Do you think at all when you post this stuff?

As for the poll? I no longer vote in non-public polls unless Clutch starts them. My opinion, though, is that Harden plays better when he's more rested. I'd like to see McHale keep his minutes around 35 a game, if he can. We need to keep winning games, so it's damn hard when Harden is pretty much irreplaceable.

    I'd rather see Harden naked.

On a serious note, I advocate that we rest Harden. It's better to lose a spot or two seeding wise toward the end of the season, than get thrown out in the first round with a tired Harden.

Since the NBA adopted the current 16 team playoff in 83-84, 30 of 31 champions and 60 of 62 finalist have been top 3 seeds. Of course, if you don't think we are contenders, then rest is probably fine.

The 50 was awesome. I was there to see it and went nuts when he hit that last 3 that looked like it had no chance of going down, but even with that amazing night his last 10 games, shooting wise, have been way below his average.

the only reason harden cant give 100% with heavy minutes is cuz he has to do 90% of the work. a healthy 2nd option, and maybe another playmaker and he wouldnt be so tired no matter how many minutes he palys

    90% x 36 min = 32.4 min > 32 min

Therefore, the 90% option offers more production from Harden.

Well you're not accounting for the 4 minutes replaced by someone else. So if Corey Brewer or whoever plays 4 of those minutes at 60% of Harden's full ability, it's 32.4 vs 32 + (0.6x4) or 32.4 vs 34.8.
