Between 1993 and 1997, Jack Haley played between 7 and 117 minutes in each season season. His usage rate ranged from 26.6 to 33.1. Jack Haley was a garbage time legend.

Wow. This is scary how players from 90's Finals teams are passing away so young. Kersey, Mason, and now Haley(I guess even in sports, they come in threes). I hope we don't lose anyone from the Rockets title teams anytime soon.

Yeah, I remember that Haley stayed on that Bulls team partly because he was pals with Rodman and served as Rodman's babysitter of sorts.

It's really weird, right? Like more from the 90's than the 80's this year. Crazy.

Surprising and sad to hear. I agree that there seems to be no rhyme or reason to so many relatively young former players passing away.

Which players from those 80's Finals teams are no longer with us? DJ is the most prominent one that comes to mind. Are there any others? Of course it helps that there weren't many teams that made it to the Finals that decade. In the West, only the Lakers and Rockets got there from 1980-89 and in the East it was only the Celtics, Sixers, and Pistons.
