    I don't think you get it. The pitch the Knicks are making is "get Ward, then buy him out for $2M and voila! you have the money to sign the Millers." It's the same deal Minny is trying to do with Brandon for Al Harrington...

    except Ward clears out a lot less cap space than does Brandon. I doubt it would push them far enough under to not pay the luxury tax if they wanted to resign the millers.

    and they can go over the cap to resign the millers btw.

    Who was that opened the door and let the accountants into Basketball anyway ?

    It used to be alot more fun when you could build a club with 5 starters aout of the TOP 50, and really Kick Ass !
