I hope we come out in full attack mode and tha .9 flashbacks pisses them off so much Harden goes straight King James mode

 

If Jones really wants to prove that he's improve this season then this is the game to do it. he should have this game marked on his calender. Now he's not going to shut Aldridge completely out, but it shouldn't be that easy and he has to make Aldridge work on defense too, which he didnt in last yrs playoffs.

 

Also funny because Dame Lillard and Wes Matthews do either a head-jerk thing or an exaggerated stagger to try and draw an offensive foul on 98% of the screens that get set on them. It was driving me absolutely insane during the series last year.

 

Forgot how special Yao was. If Dwight had half the heart Yao did, aww never mind

 

Dwight has plenty of heart. Don't mistake injury for having no heart

Oh ok. Yao was clutch at the line and single handedly won one of the playoff games for us after Tracy bailed on the team

The thing is Dwight being dominant didn't translate for a win or cover up all the other shortscomings if that's your argument

 

You also forgot Yao getting owned by Okur/Boozer while Tracy went off every year.

I love Yao but Dwight last year was much more dominant against Portland than Yao was in 09.

If we win this game and Harden goes off, he better be MVP .

 

I think his argument is when he was in Orlando. Dwight is one of the few examples of a player who single handedly carried the team to the Finals.

 

just want to see a great defensive performance. after that .9 shot.. it was all the shortcomings of our defense that led to our season ending earlier than expected. lock them down to under 90 points and get a much needed win against these terds.

 

It's a big time game against the Rox main adversary. If you can't piece together the team that got favored calls and ended your post season as your main rival... I really don't know what to say. They are the enemy through and through.

 

This.... People are very dumbfounded and short-minded with specific agendas. Just don't even go there. Dwight is still >>>>>>>> ahead of Yao when you compare the total package.

 

did you watch Yao?

The guy was our best FT Shooter, a very good defender, a fantastic shot and had a post presence that Dwight dreams of.

I like Dwight fine but if they were equally healthy for their career you take Yao every day over Dwight.

Dwight is an amazing defender at his best and a very good finisher at the rim. Yao had the talent to become a top 10 center of all time.

 

Lillard has been absolute garbage as of late, which means that he will undoubtably go for 35+ tonight on great percentages.

 

My argument was last year in the playoffs against the Blazers compared to any playoff series Yao had.

Dwight was a more dominant player than Yao in almost every spectrum.

I like Yao a ton and wish Dwight had the same fire Yao did.

Before Yao's first major injury, that half season where he was absolutely the best player in the league at the time, he looked like he was headed to a hall of fame career.

Oh well. The injury bug is something else.
