TD's are pretty situational, unless you have a one-dimensional team that force-feeds a player out of necessity (or you have a super-freak like Jerry Rice or Randy Moss).

The reality is that when this offense was at its peak, it had several ways to score TD's... and exploited those mechanisms which in-part kept his overall TD numbers down.

This offense was notorious for not scoring TDs in the red zone at its peak. You don't remember "take what the defense gives you" Schaub?

Pre-Foster, yes... but If you go back and look at the stats (esp in the playoff years) they had some very good RZ TD % years where they weren't relying on any one player for TD's.

Posted this in another thread, but at the game last night the Rockets showed Andre on the big screen while the chorus from "I will always love you" played. Crowd went nuts for him and he got a standing ovation for a good minute.

He's been beloved in this city.

Saw him at the game last night in the Lexus Lounge. Told him to stay in Houston. He just chuckled. Looked like he didn't want to be bothered too much but my friend got the following pic for verification:

    Said no Texans fan ever.

Thanks Andre for repping the city as an all time great.

Maybe Brady can show everyone how much he has left.

I can understand the 2-14's, but LAST year being one of the most miserable seasons just goes to show how much of a malcontent he was. Sure it was a new coach/new playbook, but we were winning and we were competitive, just barely missing a playoff berth. No way should he have felt that way about last year's team if he was truly a team player.

It was pretty miserable watching him fumble on the potential game winning drive if we are being honest.

Listened to it live, I was SHOCKED at how open he was about his time here with Houston. Talked about never having a true/legit QB...Schaub, for all his flaws, was VERY good for 2-3 years, and to just dismiss that was, I thought, extremely disrespectful and unbecoming. Also, you're getting paid millions of dollars to play a game for fans that ADORE you, and you're complaining about how hard it was to go to work? BS.

He also basically said he and O'Brien/Management had major disagreements about the direction of the team, which led to him asking out.
