Yao Ming is going to be looking for the BANK and more in a couple of years, we can ignore it all we want but if we (Houston) dont start giving him the ball and if we still are not making the playoffs or making the playoffs and out 1st round I could see Yao leaving for greener grass. I know Houston will offer Yao alot load of money (MAX) but he holds his rights and China might tell his agent that it's time for Yao to go to a bigger Market, and L.A. would be perfect, just think when Yao's contract is up Shaq will be retiring and we know LA will get a replacement for him and if Rudy T is coaching LA it's gonna be scary for Houston fans(sort of how LA did Orlando w/ Shaq)

New York, New York the city of dreams.... Yao Ming would be HUGE in that city period the NBA would love it and the Asian community would love it also....

Sacramento Kings is Yao's favorite team and I could see the Kings offering the city to him and it's a lot of Asians out there.

Houston= (No Comment) I still think he will stay just because the loyalty we gave him by going to China working on a deal when we couldve traded the pick and got someone that we knew could play.

Memphis would try to sign him if Jerry West has anything to do with it this guy knows how to get the HUGE names.. West is known to build around bigtime centers and if he gets Kobe next summer you know he will use Kobe for bait to pull Yao on board!!

those are just my thoughts please share yours...

P.S. I pray to God that Yao stays with the Houston Rockets but it is a business;)

    Thank you very much!

Yao is different from most NBA players in the way he was brought up that isn't about all the money to him. He truly loves the game, and there will be ABSOLUTELY no need to worry about the Rockets results the next few years cuz we are gonna be winning playoff games. The Rockets wont let him go anywhere else, he's 1/2 of our franchise players along with Stevie Franchise.

I agree totally.....It is refreshing that he is a 'different' type of ball player in that he will not run to the first team that has a chance to win it all, a la Payton and Malone. He seems like a stand-up guy that would rather win a title for a city, rather than win a title for himself (again, a la Payton and Malone). Yao is in the same class as Isiah, Bird, Magic, and now Tim Duncan....He will not run for the cash or run for the title, unless he can get both in H-Town. Here's hoping he does just that!!

There is no CBA back then. It's gonna be difficult for Yao to move on to another team under the current CBA. Houston has his Bird rights and can match any contract if needed.

BTW, why is Memphis Grizzlies an option? Should have put on GS Warriors, NJ Nets, Toronto Raptors and Dallas Mavs instead. Those are better choices.

Where did you get the idea that Yao is that type of person. If anything, his personality has suggested quite the opposite.

I think you're confusing Yao with a "new school playa."

I wouldn't mind Yao move to Gold State Wariors. Then I can actually go to attend the games, or watching them free in my local TV.

But it's not going to happen. No way Les will let Yao go. Too much a cash cow.

Holy crap. The guy who wrongly called me an a$$hole the other day and never apologized actually lives within a$$kicking distance.
