While I agree he wouldn't fit in w/this team, Rodman is a great player and is even better in Marketing himself. He plays hard, does all the dirty work, keeps himself in great shape, and has one of the highest basketball IQ's out there. I'm sure there are some teams that he could fit in with.

Forget it. We certainly don't need the distraction, even though JVG seems to have a certain touch with freaks, as he has demonstrated with Sprewell on the Knicks.

Has Dennis run out of the money he saved while playing in the NBA? I bet that divorce from Carmen must have cost him. Plus those ho's he messed around with that got Carmen pissed off in the first place must have cost him a pretty penny too.

I think Dennis would be a bad fit for the Rockets. Have anyone noticed that after Vernon Maxwell, the Rockets have mostly drafted/traded from players with decent, low key character?

Dennis would be a better fit for Portland or Indiana.

i'd take the crazy f'er in a heartbeat... if he's still in good shape. he gives his all on the court and i'm sure he'd do anything that van gundy asked except to show up for practice on time. you think he'd put up with people hacking yao? first he'd throw their assprin on the ground and then he'd female dog slap yao for putting up with the hacking in the first place.

it makes since for les... monetary wise. what better way to open up the 2003-2004 season with a new coach, new unis, a new arena, and... dennis rodman.

whew... getting chills down the spine. awesome.

Dennis would make the Rocks interesting. I could see him taking up for Yao or maybe getting pissed off at Yao. Either way, I would love to see him back in the league just to play against Karla and the Lakers. He would give Karla fits and I would love to see that.

If he said he wanted to play for a team that could beat the Lakers, the Rockets would not be the team he'd sign with. And thank God. He's too old, he is an offensive liability, he is a distraction, and he's a thug. I'd rather see the Rockets re-sign Collier.

if rudy was the coach i'd say no. he wouldn't have the balls to handle such a guy.

the rox split the season series with them last year and the two that they lost were relatively close. yeah... i know... it was the regular season, so how they would fare in the playoffs remains to be seen. will they make the playoffs? of course! they'll take utah's spot and most likely will end up with the 8th seed. who'll have the 1st seed? i'm sure the lakers will. there's rodman's chance.

you don't want the "young, talented, and full of potential" excuse if we miss the playoffs this year, do you?

exactly. which is what the rockets need. everybody else on the roster thinks that they're a superstar anyway, so why would you rather have someone with more offensive punch? to have somebody else complain about touches? he fits in perfectly with van gundy's slow down defensive scheme.

can't disagree with that. lol. hopefully if beating the lakers is his goal, he'd put more effort in to distracting them rather than his own team.

    ok. :)

In his early years Rodman was a great player! As time went on he became CLOWN and did he his best to disturbed the game of Basketball. Our young team would not benifit from such a person of his mind set.

Dennis can go sign back with his favorite team... the Spurs and leave us the hell alone.

    Please? for god's sake?

Okay moe... just take a step back from the monitor and take a deep breath.

NEWSFLASH: Creating a rediculous trade or FA signing proposal is NOT justification for murder. Does it really hurt you guys to read this stuff?? Too much negativity on this board. Live and let live moe!

    Hmmmm...

Should I remind you of the 23 game stint with the Lakers, or the 12 game stint with the Mavs?

His Rebounding Skills are not worth the problems he causes.

Shall we just take their word for it?

for entertainment value alone, seeing the yao and rodman odd couple would be funny. id think he would be too old to be any good (42???) but itd be fun to watch if he has anything left in the tank

You guys are no fun. Way too serious.
This team did not even make the playoffs. We
need the distraction till the team
can really contend. Get Rodman. Just winning
one game on account of Rodman and the risk
would be worth it. Also, don't tell me you would not
want to see a first-round matchup against Lakers
    with Rodman.

Even if Kobe ends up in prison, Lakers
will kick our asses and even puppies will too.

BTW, can someone more serious do their
job and tell me, can the Clippers sign Brand
at Miami's price and then trade him to us for
    Mobley/Cato or Mobley/Rice or Cato/Rice?

I'd love to see the matchup bet. Rodman and Karl (not neccessarily with Rod in Hou's uni). I still remember, during the CHI-UTA finals, how Karl got pissed by Rodman due to Rodman's great and tough tough defense and the I-don't-care attitude on his face. At one point Karl's face was all red. Man that was funny.

hey, maybe he's no gonna become a hall of famer, but he still hold the most rebound for a single game. i hope we can get him with his playoff experience if we can get him cheap. we need a enforcer anyways.
