Wesley Matthews injury

Yeah I in no way hate Matthews. Respect his play and character. He just plays for Rip City, and this team I do not like.

 

Me? I don't like Matthews, for his disrespect of Harden in the POR series.

He can play tough defense; I respect Tony Allen in that sense. But he thought somehow he was superior or something. Arrogant

 

Damn, that sucks. I love Wes' game and hate to see him go down like this.

Def one of my favorite players to watch when he isn't going up against the Rockets.

 

You must have hated Parsons that series.

 

Was just a hound dog last year, really sucks to hear about that. Hope this doesnt affect Portland, would love to face them in teh playoffs again. And man that Afflalo deal look good

 

That's bad but good for all the Western Conference in the playoff hunt. Dude was one of the anchors of that team. Por is looking liking a first round exit. Sad for this to happen to a guy like him

 

Umm... he did a pretty damn good job on Harden.

 

Matthews is such a good part of that team. That's a big hit, right now it seems like nothing, but it will be huge come playoff time.

 

Have to agree. He was Llilard's perimeter safety value. It would be like us losing Brewer and Ariza

Since he switched sides, yeah, I hate him. I'm happy when he loses. Again for his arrogance

 

I don't think anyone that possess an ounce of knowledge on the NBA would say losing Wes seems like nothing. Afflalo isn't a bum, but he's no Wes Matthews.

There aren't many better than him at the two.

 

Matthews is a guy many us wish wore a Rockets uniform, at least before this happened. Bad break for Portland.

 

I agree, he's definitely a solid piece to any championship contending team. I wish him Godspeed in his recovery!

Huge blow, was easily there third best player. Hope he recovers fully. Huge drop off talent wise between him and Afflalo.

It sucks, I really wanted the Rockets to beat this team at full strength and fully believed 100% that they would have and that Harden would have tore Wes a new one.

Hate injuries, especially when the western side of the playoffs seemed so open. Now I think there are 6 teams that could go all the way, eliminating Dallas because they suck and Portland now because that's too big an injury in too tough a conference to overcome.
