neither of those will be the deciding factor. all depends on how the rockets finish the season. but the 2nd seed and the scoring title are not musts for hardens case for mvp.

Love James Harden. But right now I can't buy an argument that has him ahead of Westbrook for MVP. LeBron, yes. Westbrook with out Durant - 11-8 Harden - Better than (Can't remember the exact record) - 17-8 Westbrook missed a lot of time off the court. /Argument.
5-on-5 MVP discussion. If these guys are representative, Curry is way out ahead, followed by Harden who is a little ahead of Westbrook. A few of them remarked, by the way, that the Rockets organization is unusually obsessed with campaigning for their guy. http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/page/5-on-5-150305/who-leading-mvp-candidate Tom Haberstroh: 1. Steph Curry 2. James Harden 3. Russell Westbrook Marc Stein: 1. James Harden 2. Steph Curry 3. Russell Westbrook Ethan Strauss: 1. Steph Curry 2. James Harden 3. Anthony Davis Royce Young: 1. Steph Curry 2. Russell Westbrook 3. James Harden Ohm Youngmisuk: 1. Russell Westbrook 2. Steph Curry 3. LeBron James
Steph Curry will win this. I don't know why keep debating it. Best record. Best player on best team. Great individual season. Unless he gets injured or GSW goes on a long losing streak and forfeits the first seed, Curry has this on lock.

Steve Kerr is a little b****, Harden outplayed your boys in the all-star game, and you froze him out the final 3 minutes so he wouldnt get mvp... **** the warriors
I love these kind of responses. The "I don't care about it...but I'm going to talk about it anyways!"
Whoa, no way... a team actually trying to market its star player? What is the NBA anyways? Some sort of business? Rockets should fire their marketing team. What is Tad Brown doing? No smiling allowed. Take the names off the players' jerseys. Stop selling tickets to the games. Why do we even need to sign a TV deal? **** that. Sometimes people say the stupidest ****.
its very tight harden, currys calmed down some, but he has to put together some big dominate games with how westbrook & LeBrons been playing. last night was a chance to persuade some more guys and get some separation, but he was looking for the foul, instead of looking to hit game winner how gasol did.
Man, the Rockets have been taking some shots recently. So we're the villains now huh? Hm...kinda like it.
