Unpopular Ideas in Sports that you SUPPORT or SUPPORTED

What are some unpopular ideas/things that you support or SUPPORTED in sports that most people hate/dislike/or to be rid of?





My personal choices:
1. The BCS - I thought it was a pretty good system, and the only problem was that it needed to add more teams into equation for the national championship/playoffs.

2. NBA Draft Lottery (unweighted) - Beware tankers, tank if you want to, you won't get the first pick, necessarily ...

3. PEDS - I actually think on limited scale and carefully managed that PEDS would do a lot for athletes beyond the cheating aspects. A lot of PEDS are actually beneficial to injury recovery.

4. Male and Female Cheerleaders - Why not?

5. Banning fans or people from games for sending death threats to players. I don't think anyone should take sports, so seriously to threaten someone's life. You should not be allowed to participate any national sporting event, if you engage in such behavior.
