OKC to unveil new white "pride" jersey with sleeves

    On Sunday, the Oklahoma City Thunder unveiled new "pride" uniforms that they will wear for Sunday home games throughout the rest of the 2014-15 regular season.

    Oklahoma City's new duds have a large team logo on the front—similar to the NBA's Christmas Day jerseys—and include blue and orange bolts on the shorts. And yes, the uniforms will have sleeves.

    The team's home, road and alternate jerseys are of the tank-top variety, so this new uniform will feature the only jersey in the rotation with sleeves.


    Here is the white pride jersey as modeled by OKC's white power forward, Nick Collison:

    This goes against the recent trend of teams wearing colored jerseys at home instead of white. Makes me wonder if the NBA is transitioning.

    I have always wanted to cheer for a team that appeared to be wearing V-neck undershirts. Then I too could wear just an undershirt to show my support.

    So they release as soon as Black History month ends, a white pride jersey with a pic of a white guy in one... great job OKC
