It's going to be Mila Kunis and Pris is going to be Miley Cyrus.

Actually now that I think about it Mila Kunis would be a great Rachel.

I'm surprised there aren't more posts in this thread considering how many posts there were about Prometheus and it is the namesake of a longtime poster.

Judo, it must reflect the absurdity of attempting to create a sequel to a film that cannot be equaled. A film that continues to influence the genre immensely. Those who are ardent science fiction fans here know this, turning up their noses in disdain at a pathetic effort to profit off the greatness of a true classic.

We will make the entire thing CGI, dump that depressing, dirty noir feel and make it look more like a city from star wars! Hopefully in the end there will be an epic city destructing battle. The first movie didn't have that.

Yay, Hollywood ruining another masterpiece in order to make money. Adding on to the movie will completely destroy the movie's awesome open ending.

very cold day, today. I'm tempted to rent Blade Runner, now, after the Rox game.

Par for the course, nowadays. If it's not another comic book movie, it's an unnecessary sequel.

curious where Blade Runner ranks in all time Science Fiction films? Harrison Ford would not be a Blade Runner in any sequel though right? Didn't he flee the city with his new android girlfriend at the end of the last flick?

As Deckard jumps from an impossibly tall crumbling skyscraper, [lens flare] his skin burns off to reveal his robot endoskeleton. He starts to mutter "...time to die" but Shia LaBoof shoots first.

This is like when they made the Chinatown sequel The Two Jakes. Nobody asked for it, nobody wanted it, it flopped on arrival and nobody remembers it.

Gosling? LOL. Apparently we should have tormented Deckard with more youngster star names.

I guess there is still a Miley Cyrus possibility in this one.

What did I do to deserve this? Ryan Gosling? I may turn to drink. Here's a quote from the press release. At least I agree with it:

Among its many distinctions, BLADE RUNNER has been singled out as one of the greatest movies of all time by innumerable polls and media outlets, and overwhelmingly as the greatest science-fiction film of all time by a majority of genre publications.

Quite true. Ford is too old and it's been too long for this sequel to be any good. Well, hopefully it won't be the crock of **** that was Terminator Genisys.
