As someone who watched Boki many times before games last season, I can tell you that outside of Tito Maddox, he had the most inconsistent shot.

As good as his form looks, take him seriously when he implies he's not a shooter...

Pre-season will be the real test for he and Badiane.

DoD- Are you kidding?!?! Please tell me you have pics of that...

I'm just glad he's not on our team. Can you imagine the posts if Collier was getting more minutes than Bad Man?

Another interesting and positive stat on BAD is the relatively low number of fouls. He is averaging 3 per game which is low considering his inexperience and his relentless pursuit of the ball.

Jim. :D And good thing Collier is not a Rocket anymore! What is not a good thing is TIERRE BROWN. He had 18 points and 5 assists in his last game with the Raptors...much better than Tito Maddox who went 0-6 last game with 1 assist and like 5 turnovers.

    :D

Thanks SLA. I was watching a video of Mike Dunleavy and typing about Jim Boylen. Tried to kill one bird with 2 stones. :)

    Fixed typo.

Most impressive stat of the SPL (based on the proexposure.com box scores):

Over the course of 3 games, Tito Maddox has 1 assist and 12 turnovers.

Someone needs to tell him it's supposed to be the other way around.

Well, TPL, you'll be happy to know that Tito's shot is consistent now. It consistently sucks. Somebody told Tito he needs to shoot the ball during the 2nd half of the last game and that basically exposed why he doesn't shoot much. Some of his shots look like wayward missles. They're that ugly.

Big E told me that Jason Miskiri is one of Steve Francis' childhood friends. I also remember reading that somewhere. Can someone confirm?

To think we could have gotten Smush Parker. Sometime CD and Co. make some really stupid moves.

Dr of Dunk, Steve and Jason Miskiri both are from Takoma Park, Md. Both went to my alma mater, Montgomery Blair HS in Silver Spring, Md (just outside of Wash, DC) and played basketball at Montgomery Blair. FREDTERP

Was not Jiri Welsch the draft pick right after Boki. I think some fans here were hoping we take him over Boki in the draft, even though he is a guard.

It looks like Welsch is develping faster than Boki.

When Rudy stepped down (i.e., was pushed off the stage), I think I posted that Boki was probably the first one to s**t.

You know Boki's agent said, "OK, just shoot it well and you're in. Tomjanovich likes skinny white small forwards who can shoot three pointers. Plus you've got that Eastern Bloc-sounding name. Trust me. Don't believe me? Two words: 'Mirsad Turkcan.'"

What I want to know is, Can Badiane play, say, 10 spot minutes at the NBA level now? He sounds like he reeeeally, really wants to make our team now.

Regarding what BAD can do now, I would say if we carried Collier last year we can carry BAD this year. My preference for having him stay is not that I expect him to play now but I cannot see how he can develop faster elsewhere when on, literally, a daily basis he would be in the company of Ewing, MoT, Cato, Ming and EG.

Looking at it another way, I can find numerous less capable guys being carried on other teams' roster.

We really could have used Tierre. And I'm not biased in ANY way because of my name.:D :D

All I'm saying is we wouldn't be b****ing half as hard about Moochie if we had Tierre; at least Mooch would only be seeing 2 minutes a game instead of 12 or whatever. Tierre was a very competent backup PG, and he's only a 3rd year player this year. We should have kept him!!!

Yep...too bad. Well anyways....even if Tierre is signed by the Cavs or another NBA team or returns to the NBDL...don't leave! Keep posting here! You are a Rockets fan right? Not a Tierre Brown only fan?

    DoD

I remember reading that Jason Keep was on our summer league roster and was wondering if you know what happened there or maybe you could ask BigE. He is a big body and if that guy with the 8 TO is our best big man I would think Keep could give him some competition.

    Just wondering.
