i've had good luck with 99 designs and i know a designer who is really good if you want to work one on one and he's not super expensive
99designs can be hit or miss. you get options to choose from but that dosnt necessarily mean its good options. even on a high budget, i have seen some some uninspiring logos. the same thing goes for the other sites out there that compare to 99designs. you get the good with the bad. if you find a graphic designer, make sure to see the portfolio... you will know right away if he/she is good or if their style matches what you are looking for.
Just go on Fiverr There are plenty of folks willing to create a design for 5 bucks. Not sure how great they will be, but you can order from like 20 different designers and decide to use the best one eventually.
Funny that this thread popped up. I made one for myself this past weekend and I'm looking for someone who can take my idea and improve on it.
Send me your work. I'm bored. Also word of advice to OP, you need to provide more details when offering a job. Especially don't be ambiguous whether its paid or not. Also why go to Fiverr and skimp on a logo? Your brand image is pretty important.
There's a lot of bored college kids here that will be willing to do it for free. Let us know the info and we'll see what we can do.
