Exactly, at this point I want us to maintain the 3 spot for playoff positioning and Harden's MVP chances

Agreed. Memphis is playing too well and their remaining schedule isn't that bad. The Rockets will finish no higher than 3rd place.

It's not inconceivable for us to catch up to them. Not probable but possible. Only 4 games back in the loss column. Big thing is that we are 2-1 head to head so we do have a chance to take the tie breaker if we win next game.

    No Dwight, it ain't happening

Getting the 3 spot would be a huge win for the Rockets

Only 4 games back in the loss column, but we have only 27 games left. It would take a total collapse by Memphis for us to overtake them. Not likely at all.

It would take another serious injury for us to catch Memphis. Other than when Gasol was out last year and Zach was out this season, they've been the best team in the NBA.

The good news is after next season, they have a ton of guys who need to be resigned. So maybe after that, their contending days will be over. Unless Gasol bolts this offseason in which case it'll happen even sooner.

Hate the Mavs, but RJ got my boy MKG. I still can't believe RJ took off from the dotted line and dunked it on one of the best wing defenders in the league. I feel like I need a couple days to re-evaluate my life. Amare has two days off and was dunking on people, and now RJ out here dunking on people. Something tells me Cuban found that HGH plug over the all star break :rolleyes::eek::rolleyes:

There is no need to waste time reevaluating your life. I just read on espn that an offensive foul was called on that play.
