Why dont the Rox go for Gilbert Arenas ? Seems like other teams are only offering the 4.5 min except Wizard at 6.9mil reported on ESPN.

It seems like all the rumors about who the Rockets are interested in like Ollie, Piatkowski I've read on this forum and when i read about them on ESPN.com I dont even see them mentioning Houston as one of the teams interested.

I just hope we get a PG, and a PF ... and pleaseee get rid of MOOCHIE anyway possible.

Miami has reportedly offered him 3 years and 30 million. We can't compete with that even if we wanted to.

    i agree.

steve averaged more points, averaged the same number of assists(6.2)(arenas at 6.4) and they are both in the top 5 in the league in turover ratio.

That's so true, yet isn't it hilarious how some people here would say we need Arenas and claim that he is a better PG than Francis, regardless of what the stats say? I'm just trying to point out some of the Steve hating, carry on.

I think that Arenas and Steve would be an intriguing backcourt but the Rox can't afford him and it probably wouldn't be in their best interests anyway. Arenas and Wade in Miami, that is dangerous!!!

i mean hes a great player (not max but great still) but if you had to choose between him and a guy like piatkowski or another good shooter....... gotta go with the latter. besides, id rather stick with mobes

You must have been away from things? There have been problems and they have been stated over and over again by many posters in this very same Forum.

You completely misunderstood what he was trying to say. If you still can figure it out, let me know and I'll explain.

Arenas would be fine if he comes cheap, but I suspect he is going where the money is.
You can never have enough talent in this league.
Remember, Moochie is your backup pg right now.

Arenas is Francis without the jumping ability or the popularity or the All-Star appearances or the co-ROY or the explosiveness.
