Morey says it's unlikely the Rockets will find a buyout guy who can help more than their current guys so it's unlikely they'll sign one. Sounds fair enough. Also probably a wise policy in terms of not making current players feel unwanted unless somebody actually good becomes available and is interested in Houston. Why make even Dorsey or one of the rookies worry? But who knows who will get bought out? The reported names are not super exciting, but there may be more. We never expected Josh Smith, either right. And some here speculate Deron Williams-- I just don't see there being even a chance. His contract is worth more than twice the money that Josh Smith's was. The kind of cap damage BRO will need to take on him is just unbelievable, whether or not they use the "stretch" provision on him. It was already pretty crazy for DET to waive Josh. The Nets would have to be twice as crazy to waive Deron.
You're right, but the thing we have going for us is that we were able to deal with detroit ans now possibly brooklyn. Not the smartest FOs in the league.
Lets bring in that old Jazz team we all grew to love. AK47, DWill, and Boozer. Hell, where is Okur at the moment?
