Who are you going to cut to sign this mystery player ? How is that going to affect the cap situation going forward ?! Will this move prevent the team from improving in the offseason ? As it is this team isn't good enough to win a championship (unless somehow Dwert returns to his Orlando form). They aren't a D-Leaguer away from winning it all .... so we cant screw up what little cap space is available for a marginal move.

Lary Drew can't coach and Lary Drew junior can't play. The fact that noone gave any chance at Seth Curry yet seems weird and probalby indicative that he isn't worth much. I would say Jorge Guitierez. He can playmake and is good in defence. Not much shooting though.
It doesn't seem like much in comparison .... BUT you cant just cut him & have "dead money." $1m in dead money is $1m that you have to free up via another avenue should you desperately need that cap space for a specific transaction. He's better on the roster than just flat out cut .... at least you can trade him if the right player comes along that you just have to go get. Obviously that player hasn't come along so he's still here.
