Have you ever read any Jack London? I always saw RR as a sort of play on that kind of thing...and as such have taken the whole song as sort of a joke, especially in that the White Album was largely experimental/ego trips...

I am assuming that this is your attempt to deflect this girls' ardent pursuits...lol..thanks for the effort. However I have never used that one, although it has been suggested, because i have always had the vague impression that it would somehow be insulting to actually gay people. Don't know if outlaw or...who was the other gay guy in here? Omega? Can't recall..anyways, seriosul question for gay men...would you find it insulting or disrespectful for straight men to get out of being hit on by saying that they're gay?

 

Lol. First of all, I never said I did...in fact i said that of the people I get told I look like, Jude is less accurate to me...and I get James Dean waaaay more often.

Second of all, Jude Law is a good looking guy, IMO, and if I did look like him, I sure as hell wouldn't be ashamed of it. Although Law can, at times, look like a prematurely old man.

Don't Let Me Down is awesome on CD, especially if you can get one of the few 'live' recordings. It is also officially the last song they ever performed together before an audience. Come Together was the last song John ever sang in public.

My favorite Beatles song is "I Should Have Known Better" which describes my feeling of helping to derail this thread.
