I think the heat screwed up. Dragic is expecting a max extension in the offseason and they have no picks. Bosh and Dragic as max players is a bad look for Riley. Riley's retirement over/under 3 years?

Philly won by getting more 1st round picks.

So who won the scoop-off? Woj, Stein or Amick?

How long can Philly just stay on the pick-treadmill? It's pretty weird. Their guys were actually growing a tiny bit this year. Oh no, can't have that. Trade, trade. Picks, picks!

What's beyond weird to me is how Utah went from "Kanter is one of our building blocks" mantra few days ago to "let's lose him for a guy we don't need at all".
Isn't there at least some valuable pick involved? What have the Jazz been smoking during deadline? Presti definitely made amends after Harden's fiasco.

I'm guessing 76ers is trying to go the way of getting an established franchise player via picks instead of building the young.

I wonder how long it'll take...

They got a first round pick for him. He already turned down a 32m offer and he and his agents think he's some kind of superstar. I think the Jazz made out well. As for the Thunder, they're obviously in a situation where they need to make moves like this, but I wonder if they will retain him or just lose him like they did with K-Mart.

Thunder remind me of the Cavs trying desperately to surround Lebron with talent before he left. Except in this example OKC already traded away the best talent/best friend for nothing and is desperately just trying to make the playoffs.

I thought Kanter said he wanted to leave?

Man I think Sam Presti would be upset to be compared w/Cavs Danny Ferry(Not Hawks Danny Ferry although Hawks Danny Ferry is being made to look good by Buds system and coaching).
I think the pieces Presti put together so far are looking better than what the Cavs did in trying to surround LeBron with talent.

It comes back to trading Harden away. Ever since that they have been scrambling to replace him. Martin, Lamb, Waiters, etc.

Magic Johnson tweets are the best! :)

As far as the Rockets are concerned, I think our moves will have very little effect on our play. Prigs and KJ will get limited minutes at best. The changes in the West will have an effect though.

The Thunder were already better than us and today solidifies that.

Phoenix was already worse than us and today solidifies that as well.

I'm most concerned with Portland. Afflalo is underrated and is a significant boost to Portland. Yesterday I would've said that we're on the same level or better than Portland. Now I'm not so sure.
