Great Article! It's refreshing to hear how trades really happen from the horses mouth. It would be cool to get Morey's account of trading for Harden.

...and gave us the assets necessary to land Dwight Howard. Let's not finish the story at a convenient point, tell it all like it is.

People seem to forget that PPat couldn't rebound or box out to save his life.

We traded PPat away not to get Robinson, but for the development of Jones and DMo.

Well in this case, we = morey

    btw, dish?

Good read....glad to read what it's like, especially when a player changes their mind like that.

I forget which NBA player said it (might have been Barkley) but I remember he said that whenever they hear they got traded, the first thing they all ask is, "For who?"

It hurts their pride when they get traded for a scrub.

nice article. salaries are high enough to put up with the "it's a business" and no one forces them to be nba players. it's a choice.

Goran Dragic does not like the Rockets. As the sources have said, he wanted to stick it to the Rockets.

Which is why we were not on his list and a big reason why Rockets could not re-acquire him.

Rockets knew that even if they were to trade for him, he was going to screw them this off-season.

He should have gone to Duke. I remember that summer he committed to Kentucky. That's right when I joined Clutchfans as well. Had trouble getting into med school two years in a row, worked in an immunology lab, and started looking into internet basketball forums for my escapism fix.

Either way, he's a stand-up dude. Always stayed true to his roots in West Virginia. Among all the depression in his home country, he is one of the people who truly made it. I couldn't be happier for the guy.

By listing the Lakers and Knicks as destinations, Goran has proven that money/spotlight is his primary motivation.

Given that, it's not surprising that he's sour that we wouldn't resign him for money reasons.
