    This was the most likely scenario. It's a good deal for Portland. Nuggets did ok.

    That was Kevin Pritchard. He was fired in 2011.

    Current GM is Neil Olshey, the guy who got CP3 to the Clips.

    Portland is so deep now. Batum and Matthews were already solid at their positions, and now they add Afflalo?

    Of all the moves made today, this one scares me the most. I wish we had pulled the trigger on this, I think Afflalo would've been a perfect second scorer behind Harden. Plus he comes off the books in time for 2016 free agency.

    I hope I'm wrong, but I'm not feeling very confident if we see Portland in the playoffs again.

    Batum has been turrible this season. Afflalo is a pretty good move because it takes minutes away from him.

    I'm so with you! Afflalo is a poor defender who is ok offensively. He is better than the trash they gave up, but not a difference maker on his own - not sure he makes them significantly better

    Blazers are mehhh. As long as we don't get screwed out of 2 games again, can't see them troubling a (healthy) Rockets.

    Which is why I don't think this really moves the needle for them. It doesn't really change their weakness which is they depend too much on jump shooting.

    Just me though, they are a dangerous team as is every other team in the west playoffs but I don't think as built they are going to the WCF and beyond.
