    We're down to the wire. What are your best bets as to what will happen?

    I suspect one of two things will happen. Either the Rockets will trade for a player or they won't.

    Probably nothing. I just hope we get a backup C to replace Dorsey.

    My guess is that something happens with;

    Shved
    Pappa

    And possibly Canaan & NO pick but nothing major.

    Some of them will be having lunch, others taking a nap and some others out shopping.

    At this point it looks like nothing, or a minor move. Who knows though, we could be surprised.

    You would think at least a minor move, but I'd be stunned if anything major happened. The fact that we're just over an hour away and nothing has been reported combined with the relative silence of Doc Rocket and cyberx leads me to believe that Morey either couldn't get the players he wanted or he and Les are punting til next offseason(and possibly 2016).

    They do nothing then come 2017, give up further assets to trade the salaries of the Pels & 2016 1st picks for cap space to chase Durant. When the rockets miss on Durant...

    Most likely a minor move, if anything at all. We'll have to trust that they did everything they could...right..?

    Minor move involving Shved , basically extending the shelf life of the asset beyond the end of the season.

    Then hang a Durant poster in the training center.

    You need to at least give up a second round pick to dump him or even worse, getting back a worse contract.

    Not worth it, just cut him after the deadline and sign a 10 days contract will be a better choice.

    We DON't need to dump, second, or send a first rounder. We are under the cap.

    You trade his expiring contract for one that expires later .... and get something of value for it.

    If you don't move him now , you can do so after the season prior to the start date of the next .... You don't cut him.

    No , they are NOT under the cap , the Rockets are $12.9m Over the cap and about $850k into the luxury tax.
