This is the same man that signed 3 PGs to build the team around. Surely, he must know what he is doing.
Just throwing this out there: I want Dragic and all, but I don't know that he makes us a title contender.
The OKC trade for Lopez is hilarious if you think about it. They are going to go over the luxury cap to get Lopez, something they didn't want to do to keep James Harden.
they mean that right now it looking like a plane crash...but don't be quick to judge. a deal that looks impossible now may arise last minute.
At this point no that's incorrect. Its personal for Sarver now. He doesn't want to seem weak like he can get bent over backwards by power agents. It should never be personal with NBA transactions. It should always be taken as business because even as Dragic is making it seem personal & emotional from his end, the move to an LA or New York in free agency is 200% business.
Damn, I F5'd and the site wouldn't load. I was convinced something had gone down. One thing is for certain, ever since Morey took over as GM, it's been damn exciting to be a Rockets fan.
Dragic was the heir to Nash but Sarver traded him away to get Aaron Brooks. this is more of a case of Sarver not wanting to look like a fool again - but he is going to look just that if he holds onto Dragic. Not to mention the completely awkwardness in the locker room now.
We better not make a move just to make a move like we did last year trading Brooks for the scrub Jordan Hamilton. We could have used Brooks right about now.
I bet Morey has been kicked back on the sofa, bowl of Cheetos in hand, watching a Sex and the City marathon while all this is going down.
