I'm always excited about an upcoming Rockets season, but I feel this season will be a little more special. A lot of good things will happen for the Rockets this season, what are you most lookin forward to? For me it's a combination of all the things in the poll but especially showin the rest of the league and their fans that the Rockets are for real, doin good in the playoffs, and I think gettin past the first round.
I want to see whether JVG really has an effect on how the rox play offense and deffense. If they address their problems and we remain healthy, making it to the playoffs should be a cinch.
Dang it! Earlier when I was thinkin bout makin the poll I thought about referencing something about them but I forgot. That's like the best part about the game besides the Rockets winning. The blonde hair chick on the Rockets main page is the hottest.
i'm excited about all those things. I'm also excited about the arena being so close to my house, now I don't have to get on the freeway.
It's kind of dissapointing that more people on this board will pick the option about Yao as oppossed to our whole team makin the playoffs. I'll take it though as Yao's improvement will be one of the main factors that does lead us to the playoffs.
I don't care if they play sloppy streetball, slacking off on defense, while wearing pajamas with pinstripes and buffy the vampire kiler logos on them... as long as they make some noise in the playoffs...
Playoffs is the best response because that would imply that a few of the others (Yao improving, JVG doing well) happened. Why pick one when you can have two or three?
Now that's what I'm talkin about! I still dig the uniform of last year and I don't think our style of play was a problem (but Rudy's coaching was), winning is what it's about and the Rockets are gonna do a lot more of it this year than last year.
