well yall talking about ollie coming over here, and i like that alot but wat if he doesnt we left off with no other PG exept Speedy. well i say he is a good PG but would it be a moochie ungrade.

And since Cat might not come back lets sign jackson and play him as to back up francis and posey. would be a good upgrade too.

I think Stephen Jackson has found a home in San Antonio. He was a key role player for them and I don't think we're an option for him.

I'd like to see Speedy play here but he's got better options with teams that have cap space.

there are still a couple other PGs out there besides Speedy but none are that good. Strickland, Best, Lue, Childs, Carter, etc. Of those I think the best choice would probably be Strickland but only if he had to play very limited minutes. Otherwise Lue but it seems many teams are interested.

I'm not that impressed with jackson, I'd rather have a more consistent shooter (maybe Piatkowski?).

I've always wanted Speedy as a backup pg.

    Stephen Jackson? No thanks.

Kenny Anderson could be a useful backup PG IMO.

stephen jackson is a lot like joauqin hawkins. give joaquin hawkins sometime and he'll show you what he can do. stephen jackson was a scrub until he got some playing time and showed everyone what he can do

shooting guard? he is a great back-up point guard who can't shoot outside of 18ft.

allready have hawkins? i think anyone here would move hawkins in half a second to get speedy.

Speedy Claxton is not a point guard.

He's a shooting guard who gets a lot of open shots because teams leave him wide open because of Tim Duncan.

He's not that good - his only redeeming aspect is that, unlike Parker and Ginobli and Jackson, he seems to suffer less from the habitual case of the stupids that plagues the Spurs guards, where they go minutes at a time without giving the ball to Duncan.

Read today that Speedy probably will not be back in SA, up to five teams are interested in him and SA is looking in doing a sign and trade one for one for him.
