Love ya, but Denver doesn't need a center. They will have cap space to go out and sign whomever this offseason (Asik?) Absolutely zero chance they move Lawson, a near star player, for Jordan Hill.
They have Nurkic. And Hill ****ing sucks. Hill is the center for the worst defensive team in the NBA. What good is the team option? He isn't worth it so it's just an expiring contract.

Its not so bad... We are still contenders IMO... I won't be disappointed... we got Josh Smith and Brewer for basically nothing... life is good.
Sorry. You are basically saying the Nuggets are intrigued at dumping two guys who are worth at least a first rounder and a prospect each for two salary dumps and a late first rounder. Garbage.
What if Morey doesn't want to acquire a guy who's locked up for another 2 seasons? Remember, he and Les apparently still have this 3rd superstar fetish(this time it's Durant). Lawson would effectively kill that (pipe)dream. And before anyone tout the acquisitions of Smith and Brewer, keep in mind that both of those guys are free agents after this season. I really hope I'm wrong, but I have a terrible feeling management is more interested in "flexibility" than going all in this season and next.
No, Morey should let it happen. Lakers selecting the 14th pick for the next several years. Good stuff:grin:
Where's their need for center? Backup, maybe, but they have Nurkic. If they have a "need" at center, why not take a big with higher upside, aka Capela? They clearly aren't competing for the next few years.
Looks like Denver is blowing it up. Now is the time to strike. We need a PG. They have a PG that fits us. GET IT DONE
