Sorry. Gave it to you as soon as I received it. Willing to exercise ETO. The holdup is the trade kicker. Yes....IF...and that's a big IF.....this happens it will require at least 5 outgoing contracts. More likely scenario is a buyout with Rockets sending the Nets a pick/picks and expirings and taking back other salary. One possible holdup is DWill doesn't want to be stretched if he accepts a buyout. This is all fresh info.
A declining player who can still give you 12/5 and shoot a high % at the 3pt. Vet leadership. I have mixed feelings but I suppose it'd be an upgrade. Depends on who we are shipping out. I don't think DWill is the difference between contending and not.
I don't think I've ever refreshed pages as much as I did ydsterday. Now that today is the real day for refreshing, I'm actually concerned for my health.
Didn't see anything about Deron? The way the Nets are leaking there should be something out there. Gonna wait for cyber stein or Woj to confirm.
The ghost of Deron Williams? Can he still play? #donotwant His contract will prevent us from being a player for KD. Of course, if he comes with a center-Brook Lopez or Mason Plumlee, then we can talk.
I still have some level of belief in D-Will... I don't really understand his decline though, because not all that long ago he was one of the top two or three point guards in the NBA, and now he seems to barely be starter caliber despite not being that old and as far as I understand not dealing with debilitating chronic injury. Anyway, he can still give you 13 & 6 in 30 mpg, so that's a pretty substantial upgrade over Bev. And while he's been declining, he's only 30, so it's not out of the realm of possibility his career could pick back up. Certainly I don't think he'll ever get back to 20 & 10, but 15 & 7? It could happen.
I'm not ruling out he can pickup from the depths of the abyss he has fallen to -losing and rightfully so the starting position to journeyman Jarret Jack - BUT he has had serious injuries. His ankles are made of glass.
