Yeah, but Bev jacks 'em from everywhere. If he just stuck to corner 3s he is 39.4% this season :p Rubio is 19.2% last season, and 0% this year from the corner

I guess I see Beverley improving as a shooter, but don't see it from Rubio.... a shame, because otherwise he might be a nice fit...

I'm on the fence... dont thinkd I'd be mad either way, I think he will breakout once he leaves OKC. I dont see an attainable star in the draft best case scenario is a backup for dwight. Lots of bigs in the draft, some decent PGs but nothing to help this year. At some point dmo or tjones is gonna be traded just not enough minutes... I'm partial to dmo his size, hustle, and versatility I love. It'd be hard to let either go but, if they aren't getting the minutes its only a matter of time before one asks to be traded, then their value plumets. The draft is a crapshoot to me some guys never pan out at least with reggie you know what your getting, maybe better than expected. Would you do NO pick for reggie straight up?

Not overwhelming when comparing a player in their prime, to a player who is young and coming off the bench..

You're the one who said they had similar stats. You also don't pay a young guy coming off the bench > $12 mil per.

Not sure this is true, Rubio is a great defender and his 3 pts aren't that far behind Pat Bev, in fact this year Rubio is a god hitting 42% of his 3's.

Harden is a god send for the Rox, because of him the pg needs only do 2 things: hit 3's and defend. Rubio's low FG% is because in a traditional team the SG is the off-the-ball guy, so Rubio needed to become a threat by scoring in the lane and shooting mid-range shots and whatnot. On this team he can just play make or let Harden ISO and receive the kickout pass for the open 3. It's a great fit IMHO, esp. since we can still have Bev come off the bench and raise defensive terror on the opponent 2nd unit.
