I tend to agree with the sentiment that Morey will pull off some kind of a trade but whether it will be for Dragic is a little less certain. I think the value of NO's 1st round pick here is nearly at it's peak value and I think Morey intends on using it to facilitate a trade but if he can't get anything of value out of it before this trade deadline, he may consider waiting until the summer or consider trading it to a team needing a pick now in exchange for a future first of similar value. That being said, I wouldn't be totally shocked if Morey facilitated a 3 way trade to get Dragic to LA and in exchange for taking Lin back, Morey gets a future pick or two. We need another PG on the roster - even if he's a backup level player. If Bev is hurt or in foul trouble, it gets grim pretty fast for us and for a team with championship aspirations, that is unacceptable.
I believe our team isn't bound for another first round exit if we don't do a trade. Our team is doing excellent and that's with tons of injuries and changes happening. Health and time is all we need. I don't think Joey Dorsey is a sufficient as a 2nd string center. But I believe that our front court can do well playing small at times and we have enough pieces with or without Dorsey.
Ahhhh - your right. My bad. I wasn't sure what season the offseason is attributed to - the next or the past season but your right, this is still the current season that he was traded in so we couldn't reacquire him.
Morey has got to find another playmaker otherwise Harden will be burned out come playoff time. He know's this
Let's not get carried away. McHale only plays Canaan if Bev is hurt or the Rockets are down 20+ points in the 2nd half of a game. Even that time Terry sat against the Magic to rest up for OKC the next night, McHale played Shved instead.
Disappointed of course , but at least better than seeing Goran leave after about 30 games. I don`t think he will stay when facing a 20million check from L.A. in summer.
Why would Morey want a player back who literally screwed us out of 2 crucial playoff games last year? The most reliable part of Lin's game is his turnovers. I'd rather have nobody at backup PG than have Jeremy Lin back
