Ideally Ty Lawson would be great fit as well as Dragic IMO. And he has a great deal w/ 3 years left that would give Rox financial flexibility to add more pieces once the cap raises. I would give Shved/Kpap/TJones/Filler/NOP Pick/Right to Lull for Lawson
Shouldn't they look at the interests of their players separately? Like, if Dragic wants to get a certain contract & situation, and X team is willing to offer it, shouldn't it not matter if he has another client there? Or, if Dragic just didn't want to come here anyway, is the Bev-as-a-Duffy-client thing even really a factor in the first place?
Report: Clippers exploring trading Jamal Crawford for first rounder to flip for Wilson Chandler or Arron Afflalo Crawford anyone?
For the love of God it is Harden, not Hardin. I bet you liked watching Yow Meeng and Hockeem Olashawan.
In the event that Lawson is even available and Morey somehow manages to get him, is anyone else concerned that Lawson and Harden may have issues? Wasn't Lawson the one who called out Harden's defense on twitter last year?
I think it does. LAL - Remove 1-5 protection on their pick, and Randle. Why would they do this for a player they can sign in free agency....just so they can offer a 5th max year? MIA - Nothing to trade. I don't buy the "we like Luol Deng" stuff. He's a middling player on a middling contract. They've already got that in PJ Tucker. NYK - LOL. The real threat to me is Indiana. They have their own pick, and have gone after Dragic in the past. I imagine their offer is something like their own 1st, Solomon Hill, and George Hill.
Thanks to Cyber and Doc for making this so much fun. And a special **** off to all the imbeciles who can't just take this info with a grain of salt, rather than being dickheads to our sources. If we get Lawson and Martin for any package outside Harden, Ariza, Dmo and Howard, we are golden for the next 3 years, with little risk of instability. In my opinion that is the ideal outcome. Haven't crunched the numbers yet, but that might still leave room for Durants free agency. This deadline could end up being flat out amazing.
Absolutely. The profession has changed quite a bit, in a not-so-short amount of time, especially on the football side, but make no mistake - what they are doing is good for business, for all parties involved.
Why isn't there more talk about Brandon Knight? Expiring contract who will demand A LOT of money next off season. Doubt Milwaukee will want to pay him and doubt he'll want to return to Milwaukee. Could be a good fit next to Harden.
I would give them Papa and Canaan for Crawford..and maybe the NY 2nd if we didn't need any of that to get our PG first. Crawford with Brewer and Smith on that second unit would be insane, especially if we get a good backup PG to run with them...like an IT maybe.
