I'm also on board for giving up a lot for Ty. He'd be just as good as Dragic if not better, just stay out of trouble dude..
Usually players get upset when something is told or promised to them in private contrary to what is said and done in public. Some players easily get over it, some don't. Don't forget that these decisions affect the players drastically. It affects their careers, finances, family moving, endorsements, etc.
I hope no one ever questions Doc or Cyber again.., Would he rather be Ellis' backup? Lol. Said no one, ever.
Remember the Dwight Howard storyline when he was in Orlando? This screams the same vibe to me. I think if the Rockets really acquired Dragic (barring a complete meltdown in the playoffs) he would stay. Agents, GMs, players and entourage all create chatter, and seeing through that noise is hard. Don't blame the Rockets if they go in a different direction... Then again, who says they were really ever going in this direction to begin with. I got to believe in the possibility that some of this is to quiet down a potential trade partner of Phoenix so that the Rockets can acquire a player from said partner. <iframe style="display: none;" allowtransparency="true" scrolling="no" id="rufous-sandbox" frameborder="0"></iframe>
Is it really that much of a surprise? i wouldn't be shocked if he had no clue either lol.. Dwight howard needs a lot more smarts not only off but on the court as well... 1) when guarding 7 footers with no outside shot he crowds them defensively 20 feet form the basket = stupid 2) blocking shots that r obviously goaltending...sure it might be intimidation but its still STUPID 3) attempting to block impossible shots when just making it tougher on the opponent is more than enough....he needs to fix these lazy flaws in his game by simply studying film and focusing on the court , iam tired of screaming HOW STUPID Dwight!! anyway...i needed to vent lol back to the trading convo
So Doc basically named everyone we've been discussing for the past couple of weeks, some insider scoop loll.
Lawson's value lies in his contract. He's on par with Dragic but will be near half the cost. That's awesome going forward, though it sounds like Denver isn't planning on moving him. We'll see
I don't see how Martin helps Dallas all that much. They have multiple guys who need to dominate the ball to be effective and none of them play D. So no one will pass to him and he will get blown up defensively. It's like Dallas is trying to build that anti-contending team.
