If I was GM... I would be going for Reggie Jackson...

    1. Solid defender
    2. Decent shooter when confident
    3. Can penetrate and playmake
    4. Look up his performances in the playoffs
    5. Would be easy considering his situation in OKC

I voted for someone else too. Morey always seems to surprise us but either Lance Stephenson or IT make too much sense. Both younger than Dragic and would be able to slip in as instant offense off the bench. Both can facilitate also.

Rockets should go hard after Larry Sanders after Bucks let him go. Josh Smith part deux. Sanders would be the perfect hedge if Howard does not return, his game is perfect for Rockets run and gun mentality. Much better rim protector and rebounder than Dorsey. Guy some issues but still 26, potential is crazy considering did not start playing Bball until jr year of HS. Almost 7'7 wingspan.

Sounds like Dragic, but would settle for IT. No Houston ties but Larry Sanders puts this team into the drivers seat heading into playoffs.

I got curious about your assessment of what Sanders might bring to the Rockets. I found this SI article. He sounds different from the perception we might have of your average NBA player, mentally. Certainly there seems to be baggage from his upbringing and complications/exacerbation from previous team performance leading to turmoil.

Somebody must have their eye on him. A buyout just before the deadline might be more than coincidentally timed. Any teams that are coveting bigs would have little to lose signing him for the rest of the season.

There are two types of teams that would take a look at Sanders - contenders desperately looking for a value to cover some depth issues in their big men, or teams who have a strong enough culture to rehabilitate his game.

Of Western conference teams, I could see Phoenix taking a flyer on him...maybe Portland too. In the east I could see Washington and maybe even Cleveland(because they are borderline reckless). All those teams are trying to stay competitive and need big depth. Then you have the rehabilitation specialists like Bird in Indy - he could take a risk with Sanders if he thinks he can get through to him. Same with Miami possibly.

I think it could be Calderon. He is a better shooter and passer than Bev. Bev's D hasn't been as good this year. The big guys stepped up with Dwight out. If they sign a big man it will be someone to a cheap contract.

Is it too late to add Rubio to this list?

Nerlens Noel could be on the move:

The 76ers aren't likely to make as many deadline deals as they did in 2014, but trade discussions with other teams have been "picking up," The Intelligencer reports.

The most likely trade scenario has the 76ers absorbing salary in order to acquire second-round picks, but they could also deal small forward Luc Richard Mbah a Moute or the expiring contracts of Jason Richardson or Andrei Kirilenko.

The team reportedly likes guard Nik Stauskas, who the Kings have shown a willingness to deal before the deadline. It's possible general manager Sam Hinkie could consider a deal swapping Nerlens Noel for Stauskas and a pick, per the report, as the No. 8 pick in 2014 would provide perimeter shooting and has one more year on his deal than Noel.

Michael Carter-Williams is another player who could be on the move if an interested team is willing to meet the 76ers' asking price, according to the report.

I am surprised that Hinkie wants to move Noel. Morey should try to get him.
We need another center almost as much as a starting PG. I think Morey should take a gamble on MCW too.

No need to sell the farm, for either one of them though.
