The bucks can't match? I think they have cap room. Knight has a higher upside than Psrsons and is probably worth signing to a Parsons-type contract...
I haven't watched Knight play enough to know much about him. His averages look good (17.8 ppg, 5.4 apg, 40% from deep) and his age (23) leads me to believe he can still improve a bit more. I also thing resigning him will be considerably cheaper than Gogi or other big names, plus as an RFA we'd control his future. How does he score his points? Is he ball dominant? Can he catch-n-shoot? Can he finish at the rim? Will he be able to run a fast break? (I can't tell you how frustrating it is to see Beverley in the open court) I'm intrigued by this possibility, I'll admit. I do worry that B. Knight will freeze up a bit in the playoffs since this will be his first time on the big stage.
Yeah, knight is just 23 and the kid is averaging 20/6 and 2 steals per 36 minutes while shooting 40% from 3. Filthy.
Could play OJ at the "1" as an off-ball guard...would benefit his game as he lacks elite ball handling skills and passing, but his outside shooting and penetrating would be great here. In Memphis and when motivated, he showed the ability to defend at a high level. No homecoming unless we're talking about his Dallas stint, but it is cold and he seemed disgruntled and overweight because of it...
Yes, he has. And that's your prerogative. Admittedly, the riddles seem to have become more obscure over time. Whether that's due to him having less knowledge, or trying to protect his source, I don't know.
Lawson has a few more years at just 11m. Knight will get around 14m. I'd take the cheaper option / better shooter and facilitator.
