Hey nils, that sounds super reasonable and likely, and I hope all of it happens, but I got to tell you, Michigan State sucks.

i agree with bass trade idea (he's a solid pf...who can burn a few mins. at da 5 when/if we go small) hopefully we wont have to give up Jones and DMo for Dragic and Bass...

Maybe a package of K-pap, Clint/Canaan, Shved and either DMo or Jones in a three team trade for a package of Dragic, Crowder, Plumlee and wait for Boston to buy out Bass.

I think it will be a one off trade not multiples. I hope it is Rubio or someone we are not even thinking of

I counter proposed you there also: How about 2 trades:

    1st Trade:

    Houston In: Jarrett Jack
    Houston Out: Jason Terry

    Brooklyn In: Jason Terry
    Brooklyn Out: Jarrett Jack

    2nd Trade:

Houston In: G. Dragic, Z. Dragic
Houston Out: Papa, Shved, Capella, (maybe Rockets' 1st and NY 2nd)

Phoenix In: Brook Lopez, (NY 2nd maybe)
Phoenix Out: G. Dragic, Z. Dragic, G. Green

Brooklyn in: Papa, G. Green, Shved, Capella, (future Rockets' 1st maybe)
    Brooklyn Out: Brook Lopez

With both trades, Brooklyn clears off 22 million for all expirings or teams options except Capella, putting their team in a better position to be sold.

Phoenix gets their big Man and can still make another move if desired.

And of course we get our PG without having to give up Dmo, TJones or the NO 1st, but have to give up 2 picks, maybe more, since both Phoenix and Brooklyn are still getting value for their assets that help them.

Does this make sense for anyone else?

    G. Dragic/J. Jack/P. Bev/Canaan
    Harden/N. Johnson
    Ariza/Brewer
    DMo/Smith/Jones
    Howard/Dorsey

Maybe we can also package Bev and/or Canaan/Johnson/Dorsey with the NO 1st and any trade acceptions for a backup for Harden and/or Howard.

If they can't get Dragic, do you think the Rockets would consider IT and Plumlee for Kpap, Shved and a 2nd rounder.

If that sound ludicrous then go after Jarret Jack instead.

    Bev, Terry, Johnson
    Harden, Dunleavy
    Ariza, Brewer
    DMo, Smith
    Gibson, Dorsey, Dwight-inj.

Dunleavy can be a psuedo-PG. Ball movement improves and he helps to instruct his teammates when he's on the floor.

He's versatile too. Run him in the backcourt paired with Bev, or Harden, or Terry, or even Brewer.

Bev & Ariza's passing will benefit.

Gibson's defense is a cure all for the Rockets problems there.

Any trade leaving Bev and Terry as your two PGs to me means a non championship year. IMHO

U can run a point by comittee with those 3...,Give Stuckey 24 min via bench or starting doesnt matter and let them all get about 16 min apiece you get scoring from Stuckey, D from Bev, Clutchness/experience from Terry that can get the job done...

Houston trades: Terry/Papa/Jones/Capela/2015 NY second rounder
    Houston receives: Stuckey/Henson/Mayo

    Milwaukee trades: Mayo/Henson
Milwaukee receives: West/Capela/2015 NY second rounder

    Indiana trades: West
    Indiana receives: Terry/Papa/Jones

    PG Bev/Stuckey/Canaan/Schved
    SG Harden/Mayo/Johnson
    SF Ariza/Brewer
    PF D-Mo/Smith
    C Dwight/Henson/Dorsey

Henson fills the gap in the middle until Dwight returns. He brings elite-level rim protection and shot blocking to the table. Mayo and Stuckey bring valuable experience and versatility to the backcourt. Perhaps the better solution in lieu of landing an expensive big fish like Dragic or Lawson, is two players that have above average playmaking skills coupled with the ability to create their own offense. No bad contracts beyond next season, to boot.

Wait until the buyout dust settles and try to sign a veteran 3/4 for insurance. Tayshaun Prince?

BDA Sports reps 3 best FA guards - Dragic, Rondo, Beverley. Dragic trade to Rockets hurts Beverley's earning power. Lot of dynamics in play.

Suns traded Dragic away, and he re-signed with them. That could give Rockets hope to pursue a deal regardless -- and sell Dragic again.
