I don't think he was suggesting AD.... That meme is from a commercial.

Um, WE could beat that deal. NOP pick, the 2 second rounders, DMo/Jones, Papa, Capela, Future picks, etc.

6 is not as good as unprotected malakas. Brooklyn's pick gives Sacramento cap space and a greater shot at Okafor.
Not to mention Dragic could take a walk on them. Sac is not going to deal with PHX.

Dragic will be given the max Len is franchice caliber young center Goodwin is high upside sophomore same with Ennis Lal pick is only top 5 this year and next only top 3 protected and the Suns pick is in the lottery.
So yeah. SOrry but that's the best.
Cousins is also a diva with attitude problems who often mails it in and pouts.

That's assuming that all the GM's and owners in the NBA are adequate at making trades. There'll always be that one team that makes a horrible trade that doesn't make sense and I feel like that'll happen with Cousins.

Cousins is under contract for several more years, the Kings have no pressure to make a decision on him right now. At the very least, they probably should give this George Karl/Boogie thing a chance so see whether it can work or not. I don't think they have too much to lose by waiting at least the end of the season to decide. Goran's contract situations is totally different-- and is why PHX may need to make a decision about Goran now.

Of course, PHX would prefer packaging a bunch of assets to "trade up" for an elite talent-- this is what Morey tried to do with Melo and Dwight, and eventually succeeded in doing with the Harden trade. I just don't see Cousins being one of those situations where his team is going to trade him for anything other than a "no brainer" deal at the moment. As such, PHX may need to do what the Rockets did with Shane Battier and later with Lowry: part with an upcoming free agent player that they like in order to get an asset that keeps its value better.

This is why Hinkie has been acquiring assets. If the call is made to explore a Boogie trade, the first call goes to Philly. Cousins can be a superstar player a smart GM can build around. Even Boston would be willing to surrender multiple young pieces and picks for him.

Celtics offer is much better IMO. I'm sure the celtics would give up their guaranteed lottery pick as opposed to LAL protected pick.

This all comes while taking my homer glasses off, because I want dragic more than anything right now.

No you can't. All this is worth like half the Suns offer.

Dragic wouldn't stay in Sacramento, even suggesting that he would is laughable. That offer is terrible.

Woj just went on Jim Rome. Said Rockets are trying to upgrade the bench and would be surprised if we didn't make a move.

No, they aren't. There's really no real incentive to S&T anymore because the player can't get extra money like they could under the prior CBA. If Dragic goes elsewhere, the max money he could get is the same as if he simply signed with the Lakers straight up (no S&T).

Now, there's theoretically a chance Dragic could pick a destination that doesn't have the cap room to outright sign him, and then that team and the Suns could work a deal. But there's no way the Suns take that risk when Dragic could simply sign with a team with cap space and leave them with nothing.

Lot of ifs, but I'm fairly confident that S&T isn't part of the calculus for Phoenix because there's no longer a financial incentive for Dragic to seek that route. If PHX keeps Dragic, it's because they genuinely plan on re-signing him.

Brooklyn's one is huge gamble and could still be late lottery. When someone trades their superstar taking back gambling first picks is not the best.
Dragic will be paid the max and be made the man of the team.
I'm not here for Kostas. I like Harden.:)

Dunleavy couldn't guard anyone, if his life depended on it. Rival PG's will run circles around him. No thanks. Mason Plumlee would be a good addition for us.

Let me clarify - Dragic would be part of the PACKAGE. Not just him... Would obviously include a lot more.
