Yeah....that $12 million is going to look great on the books in 2016 when everybody is chasing a 4th superstar. If only Morey knew Dragic would sign for 4/50.......if only. OR...............if only Morey can talk Dragic into playing at an artificially low salary next season for a huge reward in 2016. Gotta keep considering Rubio for this reason guys. If Morey can pry him loose he's gonna try like the dickens to do it.
Howard, Beverley and Pelicans 1st for Lowry and Valanciunas. Lowry, Canaan Harden, Terry Ariza, Brewer Motiejunas, Smith Valanciunas, Jones Get R dun Moruai.
What's sad is id do that and we could have had them both Anyone ever think about Lowry was traded for a pick that got us harden but Lowry is obviously worth more than Adams lol We always talk about the rockets raping the thunder but even the raptors got the better end of that deal
Good catch, but all it seems to me is further confirmation that Dragic will only settle for the max. Hold onto yer butts
Kyle Lowry.... really guys. Cyberx is just F-ing with you. A. Toronto isn't trading Lowry for anything other than Dwight or Harden B. Morey isn't trading Dwight or Harden. Case closed... move on.
But anyone else find it slightly concerning that someone who's as involved in basketball as Cyberx misspelled Lowry's name?
On SportsCenter right now the third story coming up is "Goran Dragic to the Rockets?" Probably just more talk that means nothing, but just a heads up.
Well if Morey dealt Howard, it would mean Valanciunas would come to the Rockets most likely. He's kinda the worse version of what we want Howard to be though. Defender and rebounder. And that's exactly what he does, just not on the tier that Howard is.
Mention Kyle Lowry and you'll get 2+ pages of "If only Morey signed/prioritized him in free agency." What's done is done.
Well, let's be real: Howard hasn't been on his own tier this yeah. I don't think there is any chance but if I can get Lowry and Valanciunas for Howard picks and filler, I do it in a heartbeat. Cash in on Dwight while you still can.
I saw something earlier today about The Suns taking a stand to say they want to keep Dragic, but then there was a tweet or something about how Gogi's agent is meeting with Phoenix tomorrow. So... I'm guessing the meeting will determine a few things. I'm assuming that Phoenix resigning Gogi to a large deal this Summer and retaining him is a real thing. Why wouldn't it be... he's their most talented player. But Goran's agent is going to need to hear a plan of action that includes moving either or both Bledsoe & I. Thomas which is very possible or they are going to be prepared to tell them that he will certainly make the rounds in free agency this Summer which might or might not scare Phoenix into trading him. I always said from the beginning of the Summer that Goran is the Suns best chance at an all-star, and a face of the franchise. They want to keep him at the end of the day over the other two guys. Bledsoe was resigned because they didn't want to lose a young talent for nothing. It was the right move. I wouldn't be shocked at all if Bledsoe is shopped at the last minute in the next 48 hours for a proven player (cough..cough Kevin Love), and Goran is retained this Summer. The logjam at PG with the Suns has nothing to do with I. Thomas. Its about putting the ball back in the hands of Goran as the #1 guard. Having Thomas come off the bench would still be a good fit for them. .... As for a Bledsoe deal with the Rockets, unless they are parting with Motiejunas (and even he wont be their top target by a mile), they aren't getting him in a trade. Cleveland makes too much sense, and I could definitely see them moving Irving to the 2 guard spot, and putting Bledsoe(repped by Lebrons peeps) at the 1, and Thompson (repped by Lebrons peeps), at the 4.
Brad Daugherty: Dragic & Rockets? Interesting. Dragic does a good job scoring, making others better around him, great facilitator. It's a plus. They need more help inside. Don't know the outcome of Dwight but definitely a positive piece of the puzzle and can't do nothing but help, especially when Harden comes out. Could be a great addition.
