Ok soo everybody knows we want dragic and can give them a package for him that they would consider now morey...... go get ty lawson!!
Why does "cold in the D" have to be referencing the same thing as a player "shipped to another coast"? They could be 2 different things.
it'll end with cyberex getting ready to fight plowman, but instead of fighting they quote dave chappelle. damn Montanans.
We've unearthed an ancient Egyptian pyramid and found literal tons of Codman posts, proving that aliens built Stonehenge. I mean nothing. Nothing happened.
So you're suggesting trading the NOP pick for a pick further in the future? At least past the 2015 NBA draft? No sensible team would do that. Unless the Pelicans sink and crash or the ping pong balls fall their way, the NOP pick will fall in the 10-14 range. Like you said, a future pick has a lot of intrigue so why would anyone trade a pick like that for something that is almost surely in the range of 10-14? Look at what happened to the then-New Jersey Nets, they traded a future 1st to Portland for Gerald Wallace, thinking that 1st would be useless with the team they were building. Low and behold, injuries hit them hard and that pick turned into Damian Lillard. Even then it still doesn't make sense to trade Ariza in favor of the NOP pick. We need players that can help us now and in the immediate future, not a future 1st we hope turn into a high pick in the distant future. We have a valuable trade asset now that can help us add a contributor without giving up (many/important) rotational players.
Depends on what it would take to get that. If we could land Plumlee and IT without giving up any of our starters I'd be all for it. It would give us a tiny bench SG pretending to be a PG and a 2nd string center that could hold down starting till Howard was back. In theory it would make our bench better while making it to where we never had to see Joey Dorsey on the court again.
I'm trying to do the same. I can't imagine Dallas having problems with Carlisle. Denvers problems with their coach are known. I wouldn't think SVG was hated, but he fits "media maniac". So someone on Detroit or Denver that possibly was traded to a coast prior to his stint with Denver/Detroit, for "hitting on someone too much" a couple of years ago? I don't know.
Nothing new but here is a recap of the Goran Dragic stories of the day, of course this doesn't mention that Clutch thinks we could be in the running, which to me is very telling. http://www.si.com/nba/2015/02/16/phoenix-suns-goran-dragic-trade-rumors
Also, I missed that first Codman post. Who else are D12/Smoove really close to throughout the league. It's obviosly a vet, prolly from ATL.
