I know this has already been posted by Thanos but, it actually works. We trade Dream and Walt, plus a first rounder for SAR and Reeves. We then trade Reeves to Miami for Majerle and Mason, who are both free agents next year. This would give Miami the center they are looking for and us a great 3, plus 10 million in cap room next year. Which would likely be 12-14 million considering we lose both Bullard and Rogers after the season. Vancouver also gets the cap space they want with the addition of Hakeem. This trade works through Real GM, but I don't feel that is realistic at all. Would the 10 million in cap room, be enough for C-Webb? If not, surely we could resign Mo, and bring in someone like Marc Jackson to play center. What do ya'll think? Personally I love this trade, and remember, the Heat have said they have talked to the Rockets, but not about Hakeem. If this trade were to go down, our line-up would look like this for the reat of the season.

    PG-Francis/Moochie
    SG-Mobley/Anderson
    SF-SAR/Anderson/Langhi
    PF-Mo/KT
    C-Cato/Collier/Rogers(UGHH!)

But next year it could be...
    PG-Francis/Moochie
    SG-Mobley/Anderson
    SF-SAR/Andreson/Langhi
    PF-Webber/KT
    C-Draft Pick/Cato/Collier

Miami want someone for ONE season until ZO gets back....I very much doubt they want Reeves and his massive contract for four years...

I don't think Reeves is the center for miami. He would die under pat riley.

Sorry, but I made a small mistake in this year's line up if the trade were to go down.

    PG-Francis/Moochie
    SG-Mobley/Anderson
    SF-SAR/Mason/Langhi
    PF-Mo/KT/Rogers
    C-Cato/Collier/Rogers
Majerle would then must likely be put on the IR.

Actually, I posted it. Thanos might have also, I don't know. Miami might just want Hakeem for free. Depends on what they expect from Zo (although it might be way too early to tell). Even if he returns next year, will he play more than, say, 24 minutes a game? Will Miami want to pay that much more money for a center? I hope yes, but I don't know.

    Never, never, never, never happen.

At least try to keep it realistic!

The only team that trade would help is the Rockets - think 2 professional teams are that stupid?

Has anyone seen Big Country's numbers recently? He's been putting up a lot of double-doubles over the past few weeks. Maybe the Grizz are just giving him more touches in order to shop him, but I think that he's just rounding into mid-season form like he does every year. He always comes to camp overweight, but you can hardly blame him. Is he really going to be that pumped to start a new season with the Grizz?
I think Country would do well with a change of scenery and we're close to his home. I'd be willing to gamble on him to get SAR as well. But taking both their contracts on would probably mean losing Shandon or Mo, yet still, I think it would be worth it. How about moving Dream, Kenny Thomas, Dan Langhi, and picks to the Grizz for Country and SAR? That way, the Grizz would get the cap space, the picks, and the young, cheap talent they want while we would have a lineup next year like this:

    PG: Francis/Norris
    SG: Mobley/Williams
    SF: Abdur-Rahim/Bullard
    PF: Taylor/Rodgers
    C: Reeves/Cato/Collier
Plus a 2nd round or CBA scrub to complete the roster.

I favor dumping Shandon and going with this lineup because SAR (at 6'9) can pick up Mo's rebounding slack from the SF position. Also, Reeves is a very good jump shooter and would feed off penetration from our guards well.
Anyway, I think the Rockets have to do something. I really believe that all of our cap money will go to waste, just like the Bulls. I think that we're fourth on Chris Webber's list, below New York, Dallas, and the Kings. We shouldn't put all of our eggs in that one basket. Look at the Magic - they thought they had Tim Duncan in the bag and now they're stuck with two swing men, one of whom is crippled.
