Bev was never good enough to be a starting PG in the NBA but was just the best option. love the guy but he should be coming off the bench after the trade deadline hopefully but not for the likes of Canaan.

 

Covington is lighting it up at one of the worst teams in the league which is trying everything they can to lose every single game.

I'm totally baffled that Canaan isn't playing. He was playing at a very high level before his injury and I thought even his defense looked good. I can only assume they are shopping Beverly and keeping Canaan ready to take his place at the trade deadline. Morey must have some philosophy about the disposability of point guards given his trade history (Brooks, Alston, Lowry, Dragic, Lin).
